FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the process work when sending ashes?
After placing your order, we’ll provide instructions on how to safely package and mail a small amount of ashes. Once received, the ashes are carefully incorporated into the glass implosion marble during the creation process. Any remaining glass that contains ashes — as well as any unused ashes — will be respectfully returned to you.
How much ash do you need?
Only a very small amount is needed — typically about 1-2 teaspoons. We will always use only what is necessary for your piece and return any remaining ash or ash-infused glass.
Are the ashes really inside the glass marble?
Yes. The ashes are fused into the glass implosion marble as it is formed in the flame. They become part of the artwork itself, suspended within the design in a beautiful, lasting tribute.
Will every piece look the same?
No — and that’s part of what makes these sculptures meaningful. Each one is handmade, and variations in color, shape, and pattern naturally occur. While every piece is created with care and intention, no two sculptures will be identical.
How long does it take to create my sculpture?
Creation time typically ranges from 2-3 weeks from the time we receive the ashes. We will notify you when your sculpture is complete and ready to ship.
How do you handle the ashes during the process?
With great care and respect at every step. Ashes are stored, labeled, and handled individually — never mixed with other orders. We treat each memorial piece as a meaningful tribute, not just a product.
What happens to any leftover ashes?
Any unused ashes — and any extra glass that contains ashes — will be returned to you with your completed sculpture.
Can I add a name or custom engraving?
Yes. Each sculpture includes a laser-engraved name or short message on the solid walnut base. You’ll be able to provide your engraving text when placing your order.
What materials are used?
Each sculpture features:
-
A hand-blown glass sculpture with ash-infused implosion marble
-
A solid walnut wood base
-
Custom laser engraving
All components are crafted with quality, durability, and presentation in mind.
Do you ship ashes back safely?
Yes. Your sculpture and any returned ashes are securely packaged and shipped with care to ensure safe delivery.
